Daily atomization ways to spray dryer
The purpose of drying is for the need of the using or further processing of materials. For example, the drying of wood before the wood being made into wood former or other wood production can prevent deformation of the products; the drying of ceramic products can prevent cracking of the finished product. In addition, the dryed materials are also convenient for transportation and storage, such as the harvest grain drying below humidity in case the mildew of the grain. Because natural drying far cannot satisfy the needs of the development of production, many kinds of mechanization dryers are increasingly widely used.
The spray dryer is one of the fastest developing drying equipment .The conventional atomization methods include: rotary atomization, pressure atomization and air-flow atomization.
1,Rotary atomization
Characteristics of spray dryer include singly great capacity of production (spray quantity amount to 200 t/h),the feeding easy to control, big operating flexibility and more extensive in application.
2,Pressure atomization
Characteristic of this kind of spray dryer includes coarse particles to manufacture, maintenance to convenient. However, because the nozzle is small, it is easy to block. So the material liquid must be strictly filtered. The nozzle wears easily, so it shall be manufactured by resistant materials.
3,Air flow atomization
There is a new structure of the pressure type nozzle known as the pressure-gas flow nozzle. Its features is that the center is the pressure nozzle and the environment around is air-flow nozzle. The atomization is including two stages: formation pressure nozzle first liquid membrane, this liquid membrane was the second atomization, make air droplets more fine.
The advantage of this type of nozzle:
(1) The droplet can be adjusted by the adjustment the pressure of compressed air and the operation is simple.
(2)The material liquid of big production and high viscosity can be also atomized to fine aerosol droplets;
(3) If it is stopped compressing air, the original pressure type nozzle also can be used.
The air flow pray dryer is mainly used in laboratory and factory with a big power consumption. If the liquid materials can't be atomized by the former two atomizers, you can choose the air flow atomizer instead.
As with the materials of high viscosity, three fluid nozzles can be used to atomize.
